25 Things You Don’t Know About Clare

ClareClare works at the Vroman’s Fine Writing, Gifts, and Stationery store. She’s been working here for a little over a year! Here are 25 things you don’t know about her:

  1. I moved from Colorado to California to be an actor.
  2. Annie OakleyI was nominated for an LA Weekly Theater Award for Best Performance in 2007.
  3. I’m a crack-shot with rifles and shotguns and would like to one day reach Annie Oakley’s record.
  4. I’ve never been over an ocean.
  5. I grew up in a trailer park.
  6. I got married to the best man I know (and the most talented) in 2008.
  7. My husband and I started a band called Jet City Crawl.
  8. We finished out first album last year and are currently working on our second!
  9. I sang with Amy Grant in middle school and country star Tracy Lawrence in high school.
  10. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.
  11. Jet City CrawlWhen I was a kid I wanted to be a spy, and I used to sit in the front yard and write down the license plate of everyone who drove by.
  12. Thomas Jefferson is my 5th great grand uncle.
  13. My favorite books are Catcher in the Rye and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
  14. I love to paint.
  15. I’m left handed.
  16. I collect stamps, wheat pennies and dirt from different places.
  17. I’ve kept every letter or card that has ever been sent to me.
  18. Coke SlurpeeMy favorite treat is a Coca-Cola Slurpee.
  19. My name is spelled the Irish way, as in “County Clare”.
  20. My favorite singer of all time is Karen Carpenter.
  21. I grew up without cable tv, so the first time I saw a music video I was about 26.
  22. I am writing a screenplay and have completed 65 pages so far.
  23. Pocahontas is my 10th great grandmother!
  24. My dad had a heart transplant.
  25. My husband and I are traveling to Paris in May 2012 (see #4)!

Hi Clare, wow what an interesting bio and oh my goodness, number 4, I’m pleased to hear that’s going to change! Mine is spelt the french way and France is where I live, although I was born in New Zealand, but achieved your number 4 at 26 and never went back!
