25 Things You Don’t Know About Corie

Corie is the assistant manager/pen buyer at Vroman’s Fine Writing, Gifts, and Stationery. She’s been working here for over five years! Here are 25 things you don’t know about her:

1. My middle name is Utako (which means “Song Child” in Japanese).
2. One of my favorite movies of all time is “Singing in the Rain”.
3. I have a tattoo.
4. My first car was a manual while ’85 Chevy Blazer named “Moby” (like the whale).
5. I enjoy participating in charity walks (i.e. Avon Walk, Aids Walk, etc.)
6. I have 1 older sister.
7. I won first place in my first horseback riding competition when I was 13.
8. When I was younger I was a problem child who, before the age of 12…

10. … Stepped on an “unknown” sharp object that went through my foot in the ocean…
