The Association of Writers and Writing Programs held its annual convention in Chicago over the weekend. I wasn’t there, but Emma Straub and the other folks from Avery Anthology were. To prove it, they documented various author visits to their booth with video. Here’s their interview with Dan Chaon, author of You Remind Me of Me:
I don’t know about you, but I would watch a show that was just Emma interviewing people. Not even famous people, just like people she spotted on the street.
Here in LA, a group of writers gathered for their own celebration and cocktail hour, dubbed LADWP. Edan Lepucki has a post about the happenings at the Millions.
