Although I was never a big fan of Oprah's show, I did appreciate that she dedicated a lot of time and energy to getting books into the spotlight. A couple of weeks ago I was getting my hair cut with a new stylist. I told her how I stayed up way too late the previous night to finish a book. It turns out it was her all-time favorite book! We ended up having tons of stuff to talk about. I can't wait to get my hair cut again, so we can talk about our latest reads! Here’s a toast to not being afraid to talk about books!
