I don’t write up every upcoming event because, well, we host them every night (and sometimes in the afternoon), and this blog would quickly become nothing but event write-ups. But I’m particularly excited about tomorrow night’s event with Barry Gifford, so here we are. Gifford will be presenting The Imagination of the Heart, the last in his Sailor and Lulu saga, which began with the book Wild at Heart. You might be familiar with the film adaptation, directed by David Lynch. If you aren’t, enjoy the small sampling below, and do come to the event tomorrow night at 7 p.m.

Ah… I haven’t seen this clip since seeing the movie almost nineteen years ago (!). Thanks for the reminder.
IMDb shows the Castle Green Apartments here in Pasadena as being one of the filming locations. Yet another piece of trivia to cloud my head.
