I've actually read The Subject Steve (and liked it). Venus Drive I've never found in a bookstore, which is a little depressing. But a bit of a nitpick here (I suppose would be the polite way of putting it), Home Land was not his first book (that would be Venus Drive), nor his second (which is The Subject Steve), but his third.
