Summer Reading Program 2013

by Rachel on September 3, 2013

Back in June, we tasked the young minds of the Pasadena area with our Summer Reading Program for grades K-12.  Each participant was asked to read six books (3 assigned to the age group and 3 of their choosing) and write reviews.  We were very proud and excited to see the overwhelming response to this year’s program— it looks like everyone did a lot of reading in the past few months!  Those who completed the program were awarded a $5 Vroman’s gift card and a gift certificate for one free scoop of ice cream from Fosselman’s.

We’d like to send out a very special thanks to Fosselman’s for supporting Vroman’s and for very generously donating the gift certificates.  You guys are great!  And thank you to everyone who participated— we can’t wait to do it again next summer!

We received so many wonderful book reviews, I thought I would post a few samples.  Enjoy!
